National Student Nurses Association Scholarship
Type of award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at accredited 2-year or 4-year institution. Designated institutions: State approved schools of nursing or pre-nursing.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in nursing. Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement and service orientation.
Application requirements: $10 application fee. Essay, transcript, proof of eligibility. National Student Nurses Association members must submit proof of membership. Additional information:All applicants considered for following scholarships: General Scholarships, Career Mobility Scholarships, Breakthrough to Nursing Scholarships, Specialty Scholarships, and Promise of Nursing Scholarships. Applicants must be enrolled in nursing or pre-nursing program, and may hold alien registration. Awards granted for use in summer, fall of the same year and only spring of following academic year.
