National Student Nurses Association Scholarship
Type  of  award:  Scholarship.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate study at accredited 2-year or 4-year institution. Designated institutions: State­ approved  schools of nursing or pre-nursing.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in nursing. Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement and  service orientation.
Application  requirements:  $10 application fee. Essay, transcript,  proof  of eligibility. National Student Nurses Association  members  must  submit proof  of  membership. Additional  information:All applicants considered  for following  scholarships: General Scholarships, Career  Mobility Scholarships, Breakthrough  to Nursing  Scholarships, Specialty Scholarships, and Promise  of Nursing  Scholarships. Applicants must be enrolled  in  nursing or pre-nursing  program,  and may hold  alien registration.  Awards granted for use in summer, fall of the same year  and  only spring of  following  academic  year. Number  of awards varies. Applications  available from May through January.  See Website for deadline  and application.
