MoneyGram  FSCNY Scholarship
Type  of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For freshman study at accredited vocational, 2- year or 4-year institution.
Eligibility: Applicant must be high school senior. Applicant must be residing in New  York.
Basis for selection:Applicants will be considered based on  the following criteria:  1) Academic achievement; 2) Demonstrated leadership in their school; 3) Demonstrated  involvement  in
their community, contributing at least 50 valuable hours of volunteer. Applicant must demonstrate high academic achievement, leadership and  service orientation.
Application requirements: Essay, proof of eligibility . In 250 words or less students should explain their most  rewarding experience through  their community service involvement.
Additional information: Applicants must be seniors attending public high schools in New York City's five boroughs or surrounding New  York counties.
Amount  of  award: $2,000-$7,500
Application deadline: March 4
Notification begins: March 22
