Hi there, Stephen this side. I am an NRI. I have a few questions-
- My son will be starting his 11th in Singapore in IB from Jan and his IB Diploma will complete in Dec 2021 so I wanted to check will he be eligible for DASA?
- if yes which the year 2021 or 2022
- Which test will be followed for 2021 or 2022 – SAT 2 or JEE?

Your son will not be eligible in 2021 under DASA scheme, your son must have completed his 12th along with his IB diploma. So your son will be eligible under DASA quota in 2022 after finishing his 12th.
Your son will be eligible in 2022 under DASA Scheme.
SAT 2 or JEE in 2022?
According to the latest update from DASA, from session 2021-22 onwards, JEE Main Rank is mandatory for NRI/ PIO/ OCI/ FN Students to be eligible for DASA & CIWG Schemes.
Hence, 2020-21 will be the last year when SAT 2 scores will be considered for DASA/CIWG Scheme. So in 2022 JEE Main rank will be considered for DASA Eligibility.
