MESBEC Scholarships
Type of award: Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduate or graduate study at accredited postsecondary institution in United States.
Eligibility: Applicant must be Alaskan native or American Indian. Must be at least one-quarter Native American and enrolled member of federally recognized, state recognized, or terminated tribe. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in mathematics; engineering; science, general; business; education; computer/ information sciences; health sciences or medicine. Applicant must demonstrate high academic achievement, depth of character, leadership, seriousness of purpose and service orientation.

Additional information: Deadlines are March 15 for summer funding, April 15 for fall, September 15 for spring. MESBEC stands for Math, Engineering, Science, Business, Education, and Computers.
