C.A.R. Scholarship
Type of  award:  Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For undergradua te or graduate study at 2-year or 4-year institution. Designated institutions: California colleges/ universities.
Eligibility: Applicant must be U.S. citizen residing in California.
Basis for selection: Major/career  interest  in  real  estate.
Applicant must demonstrate financial need and high academic achievement.
Application  requirements:  Recommendations,  essay, transcript, proof of eligibility. Photocopy of valid CA driver's license or  ID card.
Additional information:  Must be California resident  of  at least one year before applying. Awarded to all eligible applicants. Students attending two-year colleges  receive up  to
$2,000; four-year college/u n iversity  students receive up to
$4,000. May receive one award per year, maximum two years. Minimum 2.6 GPA. Must have completed minimum 12 college-level course units within last four years;  at least  two
courses in real estate or real-estate related. Must be enrolled in one real estate course at the time of subm ission of application. Visit Website for application, exact deadlines, and other information.
