Scholarship Program
Type of award: Scholarship.
Intended  use:For  full-time ju nior, senior  or graduate study  at accredited 4-year or graduate institution .
Eligibility: Applicant must be Alaskan native, Asian American, African American, Mexican American, Hispanic American, Puerto Rican, American Indian or Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Basis for selection: Major/career interest in engineering, civil; engineering,  chemical;  engineering, environmental;
environmental science; ecology; geology/earth sciences; biology or hydrology. Applicant must demonstrate high
academic achievement.
Application requirements: Recommendations, essay, transcript. Resume.
Additional  information:Minimum  cumulative  3.0 GPA. Must have a declared major in civil, chemical, or environmenta l engineering,  or a major in  one of  the environmental  sciences (ie biology, geology, hydrogeology, or ecology). Scholarship is for Juniors and  Seniors in college.
