American Legion Arizona Auxiliary Health Care Occupation Scholarship
Type  of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For undergraduate or post-bachelor 's certificate study  at accredited  vocational, 2-year  or 4-year institution.
Designated institutions: Arizona tax-supported institutions. Eligibility: Applicant or parent must be member/participant of American Legion Auxiliary. Applicant must be U.S. citizen residing in  Arizona.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in health-related professions; health  sciences or physical  therapy.  Applicant
must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement, depth  of  character and  seriousness of purpose.
Application requirements: Recommendations, essay, transcript.  Photograph  of self. Additional information : Must be resident of Arizona at least one year. Preference given to immediate family members of veterans.
