BMI Founders Award for Radio Broadcasting
Type  of  award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For  undergraduate or  graduate study at  accredited vocational, 2-year, 4-year or graduate institution in Un ited States.
Eligibility: Applicant must  be at least  17,  no older than  24. Basis for selection: Appl icant must demonstrate high academic achievement.
Application requirements:  Recommendations, essay,  transcript. Must provide most recent transcript. One letter of recommendation from  a  full-time faculty  member  at their institution. Written subm issions must be between 700- 1500 words in length. Video submissions must be between six and twelve minutes in length.
Additional information: Minimum 3.0 GPA. Must  be
currently enrolled; students accepted for future enrollment are NOT eligible. Applicants should retain copies of  their entries, as  the Foundation  will  not  undertake to return materials.
Broadcasting  degree candidates with  an  academic focus  in radio broadcasting. Applicable majors include, but are not limited to: Broadcast and Emerging Media, Broadcast Communications, Broadcast Journalism, Broadcasting, Broadcasting and Mass Communications, Electronic Media and Broadcasting, and  Radio  and  Television Broadcast Technology.
