  • DASA PG Dates will be announced soon after the 1st week of may 2020. Then you can register for it.

Seat Allotment Procedure Of DASA - PG

DASA is a program under the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India, for admission to PG courses at the Prime Institutions of India. This scheme is being implemented with the goal of building an international education atmosphere in India.

The allocation of the institution and the course will be made in accordance with the choices indicated by the applicant in his application form. An applicant appearing higher on the merit list will have a higher preference in the allocation of course / institution of his / her choosing compared to an applicant appearing lower on the merit list.

In the circumstance that the institute / course of first preference indicated by the applicant is not eligible, it will be given the second preference (Institute / course) and so on. Such candidates who have not been allocated a seat will be marked as not assigned to them in the allocation list. For these cases, the applicants would be qualified for Round 2 allocation against vacancies.

All foreign nationals selected must obtain a valid student visa as applicable to their category provided by Indian Missions abroad. The visa can be obtained by sending a letter of provisional admission and other necessary documents to the Indian Missions located in their respective country. Reasonable visa arrangements will be the responsibility of the applicant.
