  • Many students and parents are asked this question that if their child is completed 11th and 12th from India and they are holding OCI card, then where do they have to apply for engineering admission JoSSA or DASA?

So, here is the simple and best answer that I am going to provide you, If you are applying through DASA then there are some special criteria for those students who fall under DASA Scheme.

    DASA Eligibility

    1. DASA is only available for engineering colleges in India.

    2. DASA is only applicable for NRI, PIO & OCI candidates.

    3. Minimum 60% needed in class 12th with PCM.

    4. 11TH & 12th should be studied from outside India.

So, from this information, you are more clear that if someone completed 11th and 12th from India then he will not available to apply under DASA Scheme.

Now the overall conclusion of the question is, If you completed higher studies in India then you cannot apply under DASA Scheme, then you have to go for another counseling process like JoSSA, CSAB, JAC Delhi, and others.
