To whomsoever it may concern,

Hello. My name is Shradhda, I'm studying in the UK currently completing my 6th form and looking for potential university options at the moment.

I came across a video on your website, while trying to find options for NRI candidates trying to apply to NIT colleges in India.

From what I understand so far, the scheme for SAT has been driven out of business.

Can you please inform me more on this, as I'm looking to take admission in colleges such as MLNR Allahbad or REC Trichy.

Also, how am I supposed to take the JEE mains paper if I'm living abroad? From what I see, there are only 10 cities outside India that I can do the paper in.

Can I do this online instead?

Further, do you now know the sort of marks I would need to clear on the Mains then?

Please respond as soon as possible, it really means a lot to me.

Many thanks, and warm regards.

  • Hi Shradhdha,

Yes! From the 2021, NRIs students should appear for the JEE Main in order to get admissions in prestigious engineering colleges in India.

National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli accepts JEE Main score. Also, these colleges have special 15% reservations of seats for the NRIs students under DASA / CIWG Quota (NRI Quota).

If you are looking for to take admissions in Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad . You should appear for the NEET Exam. Because this is a medical college.

JEE Main only has 10 centers outside of India, You can check here the complete list of JEE test centers in abroad.

But sorry! There is no JEE Test Center in UK. You should visit India or any nearest JEE Test Center in Abroad in order to take the JEE exam.
