  • Yes, you heard it right  CBSE is planning to change the exam pattern for class 10th & 12th now the question paper will be more analytical so that it reduces the scope of rote learning and students can actually learn practically.

  • They are planning to split the exams into two parts holding the exam for vocational subjects earlier & for nonvocational subjects later and also making the question paper more analytical so that students may not pass just by rote learning.

  • Akshita, don't worry as the changes have not been finalized & introduced yet they have just proposed till now and if it will be finalized then it will be introduced for boards in 2020 so the students who are sitting for 2019 board exams don't need to worry.

  • I don't think it will cause any change in JEE or NEET preparation as the changes will be introduced in CBSE & not in JEE but it will make the boards exam more difficult than earlier.

  • Students currently in 10th or 12th don't need to worry as the changes are only proposed and if finalized will be introduced in 2020 so 2019 will likely the as they were previously.

  • I think these changes will raise the difficulty level of the exam and students will need to study hard to pass the exam.
