The SAT is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the united states. There is always a myth and confusion among SAT aspirants, “Is SAT Conducted In An Online Mode or Offline Mode?”

So finally, let's clear this up that:

SAT is a paper-based standardized test (Offline Mode). This means that you need to register for your nearby SAT Center through College Board website. Once the SAT Center is selected and Hall Ticket is downloaded, you are suppose to write test at SAT Center and fill in your responses in OMR sheet provided by the center.

It is very important that you fill in the entire circle darkly and completely. If you change your response, erase it as completely as possible. Incomplete marks or erasures may affect your score.

At last, you have to submit your question booklet and OMR answer sheet.
