Epilepsy Foundation of San Diego County Scholarship
Type of award: Scholarship.
Intended use: For undergraduate study at vocational, 2-year or 4-year institution.
Eligibility:  Applicant  must  be residing in California.
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need and high academic  achievement.
Additional information:  Two categories  of  eligibility:  l) Student being treated  for epilepsy  who is or will be enrolled  in a college, university, or trade school in the Fall. 2) Full-time college or university student involved in an epilepsy research project in health or social science with minimum 3.0 GPA. All applicants must be residents of San Diego or Imperial counties, but  may  be attending  school outside the area.
Amount  of award:         $250-$3,000
Number  of awards:         8
Number  of applicants: 19
Application  deadline:        May 1
Total amount awards:        $9,750
