Hi there, I want to know the admission process & Fee of Indian Engineering colleges for the NRI and OCI. NRI and OCI will be treated differently or the same.

Actually I have OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India) because I was born in the US. But I had entire education in India. Am I eligible for a general category seat or I will be treated as an OCI? Please tell me the Admission procedure and Application Fees.

Yes. You are eligible under DASA Quota to get admission in engineering colleges in India, The DASA quota is the specific number of seats reserved for NRI, PIO, OCI and foreign national students in India's top engineering colleges. The precise number of seats in the DASA quota is 15% of the total number of seats in the Institute.

You have to apply for JEE Main and mention whether you are PIO in their online application. Then you need to write JEE main. if qualified write JEE Advanced. You will fall under General Category and will rank along with Indian citizens. If shortlisted and opted they go for admission to IIT and best engineering colleges in par with the General category Indian citizen.

You can get the list of Top Engineering Colleges For PIOs with Fee Structure visit here.

    Hope it helps!
