My daughter is studing 11th grade in Minnesota Edina high school, we want her to write SAT entrance to get admission in NIT colleges in India, So i want to know whether she has to appear SAT general test( which includes English and maths level 2) or SAT Subject entrances i., Maths level 2, Physics and chemistry. and english is not required. OR SAT general entrance and SAT subject entrance physics and chemistry. I request you to clarify my doubts , thanks rekha

4 Years AgoWe would like to clarify that if the student is in Grade 11th right now then she needs to write JEE Main instead of SAT 2 (Physics, Chemistry and Maths).This April 2019, rules got updated by Ministry and SAT is no longer valid. So, admission in NITs will be through JEE Main (Under DASA Scheme) exam.So, all NRI students looking for admission in NITs, IIITs, IISER all other CFTIs are now need to write JEE Main Paper instead on SAT.
