Type  of  award:  Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For undergraduate study at postsecondary institution. Designated institutions: PHEAA approved institutions.
Basis for selection: Major/career interest in energy research ; materials science or agriculture. Applicant must demonstrate financial need.
Application  requirements: FAFSA.
Additional information: Must be domiciled in Pennsylvania. Provides need-based  awards to students pursuing  eligible courses of study that are greater than 10 weeks but less than 2 years in length (diploma or certificate programs) at approved schools. Awards for students enrolled in  the following  programs: Energy, Advanced Materials and Diversified Manufacturing, Agriculture and Food Production. Amount of award is up to equivalent maximum Pennsylvan ia State Grant award or 75 percent of the allowable program cost, whichever is Jess, per award year. Awards cover tuition, books, supplies, and  specific  living expenses.
