Type  of  award:  Scholarship, renewable.
Intended use: For full-time undergraduat e study at 2-year or 4-year institution. Designated institutions: Pennsylvania public institutions.
Eligibility:  Applicant  must be no older  than 25.  Applicant
must be residing in Pennsylvania. Applicant must be  dependent of deceased veteran. Applicant's parent must have been killed or disabled  in  work-related  accident as firefighter, police
officer  or public safety officer.
Application requirements: Record of application for other financial aid. Certified copy of birth certificate or adoption record. FAFSA.
Additional information: Applicant must be child by birth or adoption of deceased police officer, firefighter, rescue or ambulance squad  member, corrections facility  employee, or
active National Guard member who died after January 1,  1976 as direct result of performing official duties; or child by birth or adoption of deceased sheriff, deputy sheriff, National Guard member, or certain other individu al on federal or state active military duty who died since September 11, 2001 as direct result of performing official duties. Award  may  include waiver of tuition, fees, and room and  board  costs. Must apply  for other available financial  aid prior  to application  to this program.  Visit Website  for application.
