There are a few ways are available to register for the SAT Exam, SAT Online Registration is one of them. Applicants also can register for the SAT by mail.
SAT ONLINE REGISTRATION
STEP 1 – CREATE A COLLEGE BOARD PROFILE
#Visit the official SAT website www.collegeboard.org
#Click on “Sign Up”
#Provide the information asked:
- Name
- Sex
- Date of Birth
- Email address
- Month and Year of High School Graduation
#Select a Username; Password; and Security Question
#Click on Next
#Review and confirm the information provided
#A confirmation mail of account creation will be sent to the email provided
#Proceed to fill the application form
STEP 2 – FILL THE SAT APPLICATION FORM
#Login using username and password
#Click on register for SAT
#Provide personal, high school information and mailing address
#Provide demographical information and information about parents
#Enter academic information –
- GPA/Rank
- Course works in Math, Science, English, Social Science and Languages
- Extracurricular activities
- College plans Level of Education; Majors decided; College Type; College Setting; College Size; College Housing; Financial Aid; Part-time Employment
STEP 3 – SELECT TEST CENTER AND DATE
#Select the country where you’ll take the test
#Select Test Type SAT or SAT Subject Tests
#Select the Test Date from the list
#Select Essay option
#Provide SSD Number, in case you are seeking special accommodations due to a/any disability(s)
#Provide information about fee waiver(US citizens only), if applicable
#Select the preferred Test Center from the list
Now,
#Upload a front-facing photo; make sure your face is clearly visible as the photo will be used for verification purposes at the test venue
Students below eighth grade need not provide their photo in the registration
STEP 4 – PAY THE APPLICATION FEE
#Select study material, if required
#Review the information provided, make changes if required
#Click on Make Payment
#Pay using PayPal or Credit Card (AmEx, Discover, MasterCard, VISA, JCB)
