As per the notification by HRD minister Prakash Javedkar from 2019 onwards, JEE will be held twice a year, & a student can appear in both, however, highest marks in between the two will be considered for admissions. Also, it is not mandatory to attempt both of them. The first one will be held in Jan & the second in Apr registration for which will start in Sep & Feb respectively.

I think this is a great move, as JEE Exam is one of the toughest amongst all the exams in India and a large number of students take part in this.By making it twice for every student, NTA provides equal opportunity to all the students and this will surely bring more success in India.

Hi, Vishal if you are preparing for JEE you should be aware of the changes made from the next JEE. From JEE 2019 it will be held twice in Jan & Apr & you can appear in both while it's not compulsory to take both but you can give it twice if you want to improve your score. Another thing is that now the exam will be conducted by NTA rather than by CBSE.

The only change did by NTA is that the paper will be held twice a year form next year and no other changes will be done with the syllabus and Exam Pattern.
The level of question paper may rise because of two papers every year.

first of all you have to know what is NTA?
Well NTA is National Testing Agency which will be the new authority to carry out all the Online Exams. NTA releases a notification that JEE and NEET will held twice from 2019 and the level of both the papers increases when students successfully attempt every question and hence a lot of AI( Artificial Intelligence) and Machine Learning will be required to make these types of algorithms.
So definitely it will affect the difficulty level but the main thing is that there will be no change in the exam pattern as well as in JEE Syllabus which will give some relief to the students who are preparing for 2017 or 2018.
Hope you will like this answer. Please let me know if you need any help from me.

The HRD minister Prakash Javedkar this year announced that from 2019 JEE will be held 2 times in a year & students can take both but only the higher marks between the two will be valid for admissions. The exam syllabus will remain same as of previous year & from this year there will be no offline exam mode.
The application process will start in September for Jan exam & in Feb for the next exam in Apr. Well, there is not much time for Jan exam you should start preparing early. For more information, you can visit the courses section of TestprepKart.asked May 23 12:00:00 AM

I think it will give a fair chance to every student who want to go for Medical and Engineering Examination. As many students prepares really hard for 2 or 3 years and doesn't qualify in JEE or NEET but by provide two chances in a single year, it will boost there confidence and at the same time it also motivate them to do well in the other examination by overcome their mistakes in the first exam.
Appreciate the efforts done by HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar and NTA authority.asked May 23 12:00:00 AM
