Type of award: Scholarship,  renewable.
Intended use: For full-time freshman or sophomore study at accredited  postsecondary  institution  in United States.
Eligibility: Applicant must be Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander. Applicant must be female. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent  resident  residing in Hawaii.·
Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement and depth of character. Application requirements: Essay, transcript, proof of eligibility. FAFSA and SAR, SAT/ACT scores, birth certificate.
Additional information: Minimum 3.3 GPA. Must be of Hawaiian ancestry. First time applicants must be freshmen or sophomores. Juniors and seniors who are past recipients also eligible. Must have permanent address in Hawaii. Applicants taking up mainland residency must have relatives Jiving in Hawaii. Amount and number of awards vary and may change yearly.
