Eligibility: Applicant must be high school senior. Applicant must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident residing in Hawaii. Basis for selection: Applicant must demonstrate financial need, high academic achievement and depth of character.
Application requirements: Essay, transcript. FAFSA and SAR, SAT/ACT scores.
Additional information: Minimum 2.7 GPA. Applicant must be high school graduate of Maui, including Lanai or Molokai counties. Must attend college in Hawaii. Applicant must have permanent address in Hawaii. Applicants taking up mainland residency must have relatives living in Hawaii. Amount and number of awards vary and may change yearly.
