• To get admission into these premium colleges in India you need not have to worry much about your residential status in UAE. Your residential status will play role only when you are looking for admission through DASA / CIWG. Let me clarify this below:

    Looking For Admission in:

    1. NITs Admission In India.

When you are looking for admission in NITs in India as a NRI student then you have a scheme which is CIWG & other one is DASA through which you can easily get admission into NITs in india after writing SAT 2 paper.

CIWG scheme will give you additional benefit as here you have 1/3rd seats of the DASA seats reserved for the students from gulf region.

So, simply for admission in NITs in India - prepare for SAT 2 and apply through DASA / CIWG scheme.

Also, by writing SAT 2 as a NRI citizen you can admission in NITs + IIITs + IISER and other centrally funded institutions in India.

    2. Admission In IITs

To get into IITs in india its pretty simple and straight forward.

So here it does not matter if you are a local indian citizen or NRI student, no matter what. You need to write JEE (Main & Advanced) for getting admission into IITs. So this is simple and straight. No scheme involved.

    Thanks.

  • Hi

    Thks for your prompt reply.

Still I have some queries (as my son is studying in UAE).

    1. For SAT 2 EXAM for CIWG category what are the subjects and what levels to take exam.

    2. Are you offering training for this if so what fee.

    3. JNTU hyderabad any CIWG OR DASA facility available.
